Client Director Maureen Byrne forms part of our expert forensic accountancy team based in Chester. Her specialisms include shareholder disputes, valuations for probate and divorce, as well as tax compliance and tax investigations.  

Maureen has over 30 years’ experience as a chartered accountant, qualifying in 1992 and being admitted as a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in 2001. She also has an extensive amount of experience with accounting for solicitors, having been involved in the preparations of reports in fraud investigations and proceeds of crime matters, as well as being trained in Civil Procedure rules.  

In terms of general practice, Maureen undertakes business valuations and is responsible for completing and submitting statements for a wide range of companies, from small owner-managed businesses to companies with multimillion £ turnover. Her portfolio includes dentists, barristers, locum opticians, veterinary locums, retail businesses, and start-ups.
