Matt joined bennettbrooks in 2023 having spent more than 10 years working for a top 50 firm in Watford where he qualified and progressed swiftly to Audit Director, overseeing the firm’s audit service offering. He has brought with him a wealth of audit and accounts experience from working with owner managed business and large corporate groups in a wide range of sectors, both under UK GAAP and IFRS.

Matt prides himself on being proactive at responding to the needs of his clients and delivering a robust, commercially focused audit whilst developing a strong rapport. He focuses on some of the firm’s largest audits whilst also supporting non-audit clients with their financial reporting requirements.

Matt also specialises in golf clubs having worked closely with more than 40 clubs over the years, providing them with audit, accounts and advisory services.

Outside of work, Matt enjoys playing golf and tries to enjoy supporting Spurs.
