George Wood BA ACA

Managing Director

Managing Director George Wood joined bennettbrooks in 2017 as Audit Manager after training at a Top 10 accountancy practice in Liverpool and New York. There, he worked across the audit and transaction services teams for public listed entities.  

At bennettbrooks, George is currently responsible for signing the audit reports for a small portfolio of clients and supporting our non-audit client base with their technical financial reporting matters.  

He is also the firm’s Qualified Person Responsible for Training (“QPRT”), supporting our ACA trainees as they work towards becoming a qualified chartered accountant.  

George is married and lives in Cheshire with his wife and young family. When not working he enjoys spending time with his family and working out at the gym and is a keen Padel player.
