On Monday 26th June, members of the bennettbrooks team from across 8 office locations, arrived at Alton Towers Resort for the businesses annual staff conference.
Employees were welcomed with breakfast baps, tea, and coffee before and time to catch up with colleagues from different offices before sitting down in the grand surroundings of The Stateroom in the conference centre for a business roadmap update from the Operational Leadership Team. The morning of presentations delivered information including business strategy and exciting growth plans, a focus on embracing new technology, continuing investment in staff training and development, creating a culture of life-long learners, process improvements, the development of bennettbrooks Graduate Academy, recruitment plans to continue to build on exceptional service to clients, investments in business premises and infrastructure and employee rewards. The morning finished with recognition of employee’s long service and a confetti filled celebration on the achievements of the last 12 months.
On conclusion of the presentations, staff were free to enter the theme park for the afternoon. Thrill-seekers headed for the white-knuckle rides, whilst some preferred a leisurely walk around the beautifully kept gardens. Each member of the team had magic money to spend on refreshments of their choice and they were spoilt by the variety of food, snacks, and drinks on offer. The weather was kind and the sun shone allowing everyone to enjoy their free time before heading home for the day.
