Staff Conference 2019

Our annual staff conference for 2019 was held at The Chill Factore near to the Trafford Centre in Manchester. Each year the teams from our offices get together to hear about the progress made during year and discuss our plans for the future. 

Given the location, this year’s theme was “The Climb” and was focused on the team skills and resources that we have available to us as we continue our journey in the accountancy sector and as we seek to provide even better support for our wide ranging client base. As we grow it is important that each member of the team is aware of the range of skills and expertise that we have around us so that all of our clients are able to benefit and tap into these experts so that we ensure they get the best advice that events demand. A better understanding of the services that each member of the team provides as well as the improving business technologies that are coming to market ensures that we always deliver or exceed the service expectations of our clients. During the day we heard from team members that are pioneering some of these services and it was both enlightening and inspiring to colleagues around the business.  

The Northwich, Chester, Llandudno, London, Manchester and  Macclesfield offices were joined by recent acquisitions Northline and Fearns Marriott so it was also a great opportunity for everyone to meet up and get to know each other on a less formal basis. 

The afternoon’s activities included team building games in the snow followed by sledging, tobogganing and sliding down the ice slopes on donut rings. Chill Factore provided great facilities and a fun environment to be in and a great day was had by all. We returned reinvigorated and even more motivated to continue supporting clients and with a greater knowledge of the specialist support services we now have around the business.
