We are the Managed IT Services arm of a Top 100 accountancy practice, now supporting 4,000+ end users across 100+ client locations. Specification & Requirements

 

This position is responsible for planning, debugging, and developing changes to web applications and SaaS configuration for internal and external supported users in a primarily cloud hosted environment. Environments are cloud native (Azure App Services) and developed using PHP, ASP.net and c#.net . Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are needed to be successful in this position in addition to being a competent self-motivator/manager. This is a great opportunity for a Mid-level Developer looking to take that next step in your career as you will have ample opportunity to enhance your skill set. Experience with PowerApps, Flow and PowerBI is a plus.

 

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Create, update and respond to development ticket requests either via email or phone, with professional and timely responses
  • Provide support to clients on developed systems, remotely
  • Planning and specification of features requests from clients
  • Development to specification
  • Debugging
  • Deployment to Azure environments
  • Bug fixing and diagnosis of developed systems

 

 

Skills

 

  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • 3 years+ experience with PHP and MySQL
  • C#, ASP.net and MSSQL experience a plus
  • Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Azure services
  • MVC framework experience
  • Troubleshooting, project management, initiative and professionalism are important

 

Experience

 

  • At least 3 years industry experience required

Contract type: Permanent

Location: Hybrid – Altrincham office (3 days per week)

Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday with out of hours support as required

Salary: up to £36,000 per annum DOE

Additional Information: Please note that our office does not provide on-site parking. The successful candidate will need to arrange/pay for public parking or use public transport to commute to the office.
