About the role
You will be joining an established team of technologists with experience across the Microsoft on-premises & 365 stack, plus Azure, Google and Amazon cloud platforms. This position offers exposure to and the opportunity to shape a variety of physical and virtual environments, insight into different industries, with frequent opportunity to deploy new technologies. This position is responsible for the architecture and implementation of practical solutions at per-client and whole of client base level spanning desktop, server, cloud, and infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Continuously identifying and evaluating technologies – balancing cost and performance
- Developing and managing technical and implementation roadmaps and stakeholders
- Making technical decisions and resolving technical issues whilst embedding best practice
- Providing supervision and guidance to colleagues and acting as a point of escalation
- Documentation of architecture and identification/eradication of technical debt
- Establishing and ensuring technical/security policies are continuously applied
- Maintaining a stable and viable architecture adhering to appropriate standards
Skills
- A very strong grounding in Windows server and Microsoft Cloud architecture
- The ability to prioritise technical issues and resolve in a timely fashion
- A deep understanding of the commercial and technology intersection
- The ability to lead and work on multiple projects simultaneously
Experience
- At least five years industry experience required
- At least five years managed service provider experience required
- Extensive working unsupervised within and outside of core hours
- Experience communicating professionally with stakeholders at all levels

Hours of work: Full or Part-time between Monday – Friday with out of hours as required
Salary: £70,000 to £75,000 FTE depending on experience
