Based out of our Northwich, Cheshire office we are looking for a qualified Audit Senior/Assistant Manager who will work servicing a portfolio of business clients with a positive, enthusiastic, professional attitude. This is a unique opportunity to combine an audit and transaction services role, working on IPOs, due diligence and IFRS conversion work.

Involvement in transaction services, company side IPO preparation work, IFRS conversions

  • Audit work for a portfolio of SME clients and entrepreneurs.
  • An interest in business development and helping grow the practice.
  • Involvement with ad-hoc special assignments.
  • Ensuring the client assignments are dealt with in a timely manner and completed on time to a high standard.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with various stakeholders – business owners and advisors.
  • Working on own initiative and within the team. 
  • Building client relationships.
  • Developing trainees.


Person Specification

  • Fully ACA/ACCA Qualified 
  • Experience of Audit
  • Knowledge of CCH Pro Audit or similar software package would be advantageous
  • Extensive experience with excel and word
  • Driving licence / own transport



  • Up to £34,000 plus bonus (Dependent on experience)
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and an additional 3 days to be taken during the Christmas shutdown.
  • Enrolment into company pension with 3% Employer contribution.

We are now looking for trainees for our 2018 Graduate Programme if you have a 2.1 or higher degree in Accountancy, Business and Finance, Economics or another business related degree please submit your CV and letter.

As a trainee you will be placed in one of our Audit, Corporate Finance or Accounts teams, where you will receive training in different aspects of accountancy e.g. statutory accounts preparation, auditing, solicitor’s compliance and assurance services, taxation and receive a variety of finance related assignments.

Based out of our Northwich office, you will work in and around the North West of England with some assignments in other parts of the country. Your own means of transport is therefore required.

At Bennett Brooks we take our training seriously and provide premier college training for the ACA qualification, with a three year training contract.

As well as our graduate salary, and you will also receive 31 days holiday (including bank holidays), in addition to study leave.
