Payroll Senior  – Northwich - (posted 21/4/21)

We are seeking to recruit an experienced Payroll Senior to join us on a full-time basis at our Northwich office reporting to the Associate Director as part of the Personal Tax and Payroll team.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

·        

The primary function of this role is to independently ensure the accurate and timely delivery of client payroll services.

·        

Responsible for end to end payroll processing and Auto Enrolment compliance in line with client specific requirements.

·        

Control and process a full payroll portfolio and maintain a good working relationship with all clients.

·        

Maintain good working relationships through effective communication with clients, offices, HMRC and other third-party providers.

·        

Keep up to date with all legislation and industry changes through independent research.

·        

Work collaboratively within the payroll team and wider payroll group within bennettbrooks.

·        

Know and adhere to service level agreements to ensure a consistent and efficient payroll service is delivered to clients and offices within bennettbrooks.

·        

Actively seek to solve payroll related and customer service issues.

 

Skills & Experience

·        

CIPP qualified or equivalent

·        

Payroll bureau experience is preferred

·        

In depth understanding of payroll legislation, processing and Auto Enrolment regulations.

·        

Ability to manually calculate a payroll.

·        

In depth understanding of Sage 50cloud payroll software is essential

·        

Excellent interpersonal & communication skills

·        

Ability to work within a team environment and own initiative.

·        

Good organisational and time management skills.

·        

A positive and proactive approach to the various roles the job entails.

·        

Good working knowledge of Microsoft products.
