Staff Conference

bennettbrooks hold an annual staff conference where we get together to hear about progress made during year and discuss our plans for the future. Central to this year’s theme and a differentiating factor at the core or what we do is “Achieving Professional Excellence” and how client care extends into everything we do. From identifying ways we can save our client’s money and protect their interest to delivering great service extends through every member of our team.

The day started at Northwich’s Award winning heritage site, The Lion Salt Works. One of only three remaining open-pan salt works in Europe, the site opened in June 2015 following a £10m restoration project and Curator Phil Cox talked about the site and its significant history. This excellent venue enabled us all to assemble outside of the normal office environment and made a great setting for the morning’s presentations.

This day is also an opportunity for all staff, from our offices in Northwich, Llandudno, London, Mold, Macclesfield and Manchester, to meet up and get to know each other on a less formal basis. Over the years we have found that the day facilitates better communication between teams, gives us all a greater understanding of our group aims and objectives, and inevitably leads to better client care.

This year's afternoon activity took a leap forward from our Chester River Cruise of 2015 as we took to the trees in Delamere Forest for our Go Ape adventure. Most of the staff were swinging in the trees but others travelled around the forest on Segways, bikes or just walked.  A great day was had by all and we returned reinvigorated and even more motivated to carry out our daily work.
