Management ConsultancyWe have what is probably a unique department consisting of two solicitors who principally work to help firms to prepare for and maintain quality standards. This typically involves:
- Obtaining quality standards such as LEXCEL, Specialist Quality Mark, Investors in People and ISO 9000.
- Preparing for subsequent audits/assessments against those standards
- Producing and update office manuals
- Producing strategic plans
- Producing finance plans, budgets and cash flow forecasts
- Introducing risk management systems
- Introducing systems to prevent money laundering
- Selecting appropriate computer software
- Producing information packs to present to proposed professional indemnity insurers
Peter Lane is an accredited Lexcel assessor and advisor, accredited Investors in People assessor, an ISO9000 lead auditor, and a Business Link registered assessor.
Many of our projects are part funded by the local Business Link.
We produce a periodical newsletter updating solicitors on developments affecting the legal sector, including changes within the legal aid scheme and to the Solicitors Accounts Rules. The latest issue of our newsletter is available on this site.
