First App Released

November 15, 2011

BBIT have completed their first Application for the iPad/iPhone, on behalf of their client JP & Brimelow group.

A simple interface allows for JPB’s property maintenance team to periodically inspect properties without the need for a printer, pen, piece of paper and separate camera.

Each inspection feeds back into a workflow system we have written, creating new repair orders for allocation to the various contractors in use by the team.

Some clever code has been used to allow an inspector to work on a property even if there is no network-coverage by syncing the details back up to the server once the internet is available again.
